By using solsoft.org you accept the terms below. They are meant to be fair and readable, not a trap.

1. What SolSoft is

SolSoft publishes reviews, opinions, and how-to guides about desktop software. Everything here is my own judgment based on my own testing. It is information, not professional or technical advice for your specific setup.

2. Downloads and third-party software

SolSoft does not host or sell the programs it writes about. Download links point to the developer’s site or another external source, and any software you install is governed by that developer’s own license and terms. Read the license before you install. I am not responsible for software made by other people, including what it does on your machine.

3. Use at your own risk

The content here is provided “as is.” I try hard to be accurate and to keep guides current, but software changes, versions differ, and no two computers are identical. Follow any fix or recommendation at your own risk, and back up your data before making changes you are unsure about. SolSoft is not liable for lost data, broken installs, or other problems that follow from using this site or the software discussed on it.

4. Your conduct

Do not scrape the site wholesale, repost articles as your own, or use the comments to spam or attack other readers. I may remove comments and block access for abuse.

5. Our content

The articles, guides, and images I create are mine. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back, but do not republish whole articles without permission. Trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the software being discussed.

6. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies. If you disagree with them, the simplest option is to stop using the site.
